Explanation
The asyndeton removes the linguistic joints of a list. The elements appear closer together, more rapidly, or more forcefully.

Counterexample
He came, saw, and remained silent. – syndetic connection.
Distinction
Distinguish from polysyndeton, which simply uses more conjunctions than expected.
Effect on thought and perception
Accelerates perception and makes the sequence appear as an immediate consequence or a mass.
Resonance
Only the rhythm remains between the elements; their connection must emerge during reading.
